Has set a new world record on “Creating Awareness on Eye Donation” in various aspects such as eye donation pledge, awareness rally, awareness lecture program, vision screening camp and eye donation willingness form collection, which involves 21000 students from Puducherry, Salem and Chennai on the occasion of EYE DONATION AWARENESS FORTNIGHT from 25th August 2023 to 8th September 2023. This record is organised under the leadership of Dr.B.Sendilkumar, Dean – Allied Health Sciences, VMRF – DU, Salem.
